don’t believe me for
hayfever or a last meal,
paint under my nails, lucky
i work from home. no spirit
no gridlines no more, one
sausage and a forkful of
sauerkraut, a bun for
the best of days. she
wants her pound of flesh,
i’ve got a few to spare –
can’t blame the girl,
burnt the sausage too.
